4-H Program - Del Norte County
How old do I have to be to join 4-H?
The Del Norte County 4-H Program is open to youth currently enrolled in grades K through 12.
How much does it cost to join 4-H?
Currently the Member fee is $28.00 and the Leader fee is $10.00. Some projects may require an investment to get started.
I don't live on a ranch or farm, can I still join 4-H?
If you live in a town or city, you can participate in 4-H activities with pets & small animals, foods & nutrition, robotics, GPS/GIS, sewing, leadership, and much, much more!
What will I do in 4-H?
4-H members choose projects that interest them. You attend meetings, participate in new learning experiences, and may be involved in making presentations and community service projects. You may also want to participate in 4-H camps, the county fair, or take a trip to other states and countries.
Enrollment time in most clubs is September through November.
Contact the Del Norte 4-H Office at 707-464-4711 or email cedelnorte@ucdavis.edu if you have any questions (Office hours 9 a.m. - 1 p.m.).
