Thanks for your interest in joining 4-H!

To be a youth member you must be at least 5-19 years old.  Primary members (ages 5-8) can participate in most 4-H activities, although they do not compete and they may not join large animal projects. To serve as a 4-H Adult Volunteer you must be at least 18 years of age.

To join 4-H you must contact a club leader in your area. For a list of clubs go to Clubs and Other Groups. All completed enrollment forms, applications and payment must be submitted to your Community Club Leader. Enrollment forms for Youth Members and Adult Volunteers can be found at the following link: Forms - Applications. Your Community Club Leader will forward complete forms for paid members and leaders to the County 4-H Office. The current member fee per year is $17.00 for each youth and the leader fee is $8.00 for each adult. To get additional information about 4-H please call the Humboldt County 4-H Office at 445-7351.
