100 Year Anniversary

Introduction

This year Cooperative Extension celebrates 100 years of service in Humboldt County. In California, Humboldt has the distinction of being the first county to establish a Cooperative Extension Department, with the appointment of the state’s first farm advisor in 1913.

Cooperative Extension, 4-H, and Farm Bureau all reach the century mark in 2013, and fun and exciting events are being planned.
